Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Background: Professor Harold Oxley studied at the University of Chicago with his good friend Indiana Jones. However, Oxley was transfixed and obsessed with the search for extraterrestrial alien crystal skulls, which were suppose to be hidden in various locations around the world.

After much effort and work, Oxley discovered a real alien extraterrestrial crystal skull, which had been wrongfully taken from the city of Akator. This crystal skull was powered with actual intelligence and paranormal abilities.

The crystal skull took control of Oxley's mind with the goal of returning the crystal skull to the Temple of Akator. The effects of this brain possession made Oxley appear to be crazy and insane.

After the extraterrestrial alien crystal skull was returned to its rightful place at the Temple of Akator, the crystal skull released the mind of Oxley from its total control. As a result, Oxley returned to normal as if the madness had never occurred.

At the conclusion of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, a clear minded and hopeful Oxley attended the wedding of Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood.
