Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Background: After the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy Jones and Marion Ravenwood were together again. After a while, they planned to get married. However, Indiana Jones changed his mind and decided it would be best not to marry Marion Ravewood.

Once again, the two were separated and they would not meet again until the time of Indiana Jones 4 and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Although Indy Jones didn't realize it, Marion Ravenwood was pregnant with Indiana Jones' biological son in late 1937.

It would be two decades later before Indy Jones learned in 1957 that Indiana Jones had a son named Mutt Williams as a result of his brief relationship with Marion Ravenwood.
