Plot Story Script Summary: The year is 1935 with Indiana Jones in Shanghai, China to exchange Nurhachi's Ashes for some valuable diamonds. In a stunning reversal, Indy Jones is betrayed and poisoned by the Chinese villains. However, Indiana Jones manages to elude the villains with the antidote to the poison and with an exotic night club singer named Willie Scott. Indy Jones escapes with Willie Scott in a car driven by the young side kick of Indiana Jones named Short Round.
The three heroes make it to an airplane to take them to safety, but it turns out to be another trick. During mid flight, the pilots exit the airplane while Indiana Jones is asleep and Indy Jones ends up having to try to crash land the plane. Instead of flying the airplane to the ground, Indy Jones decides to jump from the airplane in an inflatable raft. Indiana Jones, Willie Scott and Short Round plummet from the sky in the raft and eventually end up in a river.
The heroes are now in India and come across a desperate village named Mayapore that has lost all its children to the Thuggee villains. The villagers believe their Hindu god Shiva has sent Indiana Jones to recover their children and the three sacred Sivalinga stones, which were taken from their place of worship by the nefarious Thuggees from Pankot Palace. Indy Jones thinks the stones of the villagers might be from the five fabled Sankara stones.
Riding elephants, the heroes arrive at Pankot Palace and enjoy a feast while staying as a guest of the young prince of Pankot Palace. Later on, Indiana Jones finds a secret entrance to the Thuggee layer hidden below Pankot Palace. Indy Jones learns the evil Mola Ram, who is the leader of the Thuggee religious cult, is utilizing child slaves to search for the remaining Sankara stones, which have been lost somewhere below Pankot Palace.
With much excitement, Indiana Jones is separated from Willie and Shorty and Indy Jones is made to drink the Blood of Kali, which turns Indy Jones in to some kind of zombie. Mola Ram is about to sacrifice Willie to his gods, but Short Round is able to wake Indy Jones up from the black sleep, which enables Indiana Jones and Shorty to rescue Willie, the Sankara stones and the children, who have been imprisoned by the Thuggee.
A thrilling mine car chase ensues with the heroes being chased by the villains. The heroes end up at a rope bridge. While the heroes are in the middle of the bridge, Mola Ram has the bridge cut so that the heroes will plummet to their deaths. However, Indy Jones, Willie and Short Round manage to hold on to the falling bridge successfully and begin to make their way up the bridge, which is now hanging from the side of a cliff.
On the fallen bridge, Mola Ram reaches Indy Jones, who still has the sacred Sankara stones. Indiana Jones recites some magical religious words and the Sankara stones heat up with great power. Desperately, Mola Ram tries to retrieve the stones and subsequently falls to his death in the pursuit of godlike powers of invincibility. The heroes make it to safety above the fallen bridge. Arriving back at the Mayapore village, Indy Jones, Willie and Short Round are welcomed as conquering heroes for successfully returning the village children and one of the beloved Sankara stones.
